Well one thing is for sure , Ichiro will be missed in NY and if the Steinbrenner's had as much fore-sight as their Dad , they would not have gone with Carlos Beltran , who may do good if his health lasts thru a whole season . I myself know he may have been a Met before , but he doesn't seem as popular with Fans as Ichiro , especially their Fans in Japan, of the Yankees must be disappointed , plus he will get to 3000 Hits and the Yankees have Derek Jeter as a member of the 3000 Hits Club with A-Rod closing in and hopefully this year. Not sure if he will succeed in being HOME RUN King after losing last Season. Ichiro will get their as long as his Health allows him to Play Ball !
