I think that might be my Mom and me in this pic , sure looks like a hat and dress I remember Mom wearing!!!!
Carousels in Parks: New York City Department of Parks & Recreation The Wizard remembers this Carousel and it was there longer, I thought in Steeplechase Park, past the date in this sites story 1951.....I know you had to be a certain height or age to ride solo ....because of its faster pace.....also there wasn't a step up , the floor was flush with the ground !!!!
