If anybody out there knows Carson Daly on THE VOICE ,I want to get him to invite my ex- Miss Ellen Davis to try and get the Judges to turn a chair or 2 or more for her . I still believe she has a great voice that should get a shot at a record deal. Ellen still playing at a coffee shop besides being a full time nurse has paid her dues.When we lived In Steamboat Springs she opened and sang back-up for Mary Mac Gregor of "Torn Between two Lovers " fame! Ellen has also sang with legendary Violin Player Vasser Clements and many other celebrities over the years. While living in New Orleans she performed at Tipitina's in a Tribute to the Boswell Sisters , forerunners of the Andrew Sisters. For some reason the video didn't work for me ,but might be ok for you but the sound was fine. There's more tunes with her and the Hudson Street Salvage Band , she sang with a few years back !!!
