Coney Island Amusement Park - Parachute Jump and Other Rides 1950s

The Original Steeplechase ride , was in George C. Tilyou's Steeplechase Amusement Park. I forget was it 6 or 7 or whatever number , the horses were rode individually! You had to hold on tight ,as you went speedily around the place, ending with losers getting scared to death by Clowns ( I forgot about not liking Clowns as a young boy, caused by this group! I liked them after I was introduced to Emmett Kelly , who was with Ringling Bros.Barnum&Bailey Circus.This ride  was called by another name b4 I think The Wild Mouse!
