The Sax Player Lon Price , who played with Billy & the Beaters and was one of the USA premier Sax players, going on to play with Al Jarreau & Joan Armitradind and session work with many more greats : living and playing with a great Band called Sugardaddy in NOLA .at The Ivanhoe on Toulouse and Bourbon Sts.in 70s when I met him and got to sing 2 songs mostly Mustang Sally & St. James Infirmary Blues ,Your Father's Mustache style vocally and SUGARDADDY belting out the Blues with awesome Musicians like Steve Howard on Trumpet, Dave Watson and Kenny Renthro who was as good as a Texas Bluesman you could find ; or Marshall Cyr , Johnny Winter and some other great memories of my NOLA dayze, like Joe Cocker's falling out of the Ivanhoe , but that's a good Joe memory for me and but another story for another time !
