I saw Joey Dee & The Starliters many times, even at the Peppermint Lounge and have to say , although he was around at the time of Doo-Wop,they really weren't a Doo-Wop 

group and the site where I got this pic had an ad for a show in Hawaii they headlined on Doo-Wop in 2010 !

DooWop , They really were not !
