although you kinda see it first due to how I've posted when I'm
toasted....in this farewell aloha to the Gonzo journalist....there is
even a break in the line of stuff cause I didn't think the Wizard
would keep adding more to his Ciao to the Aspen resident turned Spirit
in the Sky......I thought this last pic I found would be the perfect
way to start it even though its last....and the last for the month of

Well we can only hope , with the passing of Sandra Dee at age
63. So the Wizard believes in partying for whoever departs, I include
a pic of her and Bobby Darin,her hubbie a long time ago.
Most younger boys and girls out there tend to think the name
Sandra Dee is just lyrics in a GREASE ( Play&Movie) song. Very Scary
!!!!!

I still think the best was at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival when she told one of her guitarists while getting ready to start her set to " get that f**king guitar in tune or get the f**k off the stage ";embarassing for both of them since she didn't know her mike was on and picked up her rant !!!!!

The Wizard was very lucky to catch THE DARK HORSE TOUR with RAVI SHANKAR as opening performer. I also consider THE CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH a fine musical movie....one of the Wizard's ex-es was present , in body anyway, cause she passed out at a certain point,not remembering much.
The man was also quite highly regarded by his fellow musicians as testified to in THE CONCERT FOR GEORGE.

BLUES BROTHERS 2000

Although this sequel had way to much to live up to its
predecessor.....you cannot blame them for trying and it wasn't there
fault Joliet Jake played by John Belushi decided to waste his talent
and life stupidly. But still in all the music is what makes this worth
listening to if not watching. The original is in following post !!!!!

The Wizard would love to hear your opinion on this outrageous movie.
I've never met anyone who didn't love this movie and its soundtrack.
But as if I were sitting in the room I first saw Siskel & Ebert review
this movie ,I'll never forget how they thumbs downed it with a real
trashing of Jake and Elwood's mission from GOD !!!!!

As promised on the link below here is the picture of a classic Rock
album.I had an opportunity once to see him perform live at RED ROCKS
just outside of Denver,Colorado. He was opening for the MOODY
BLUES,and I'll bet not a handful of people knew who he was.The WIZARD
of course was one of the handful; but alas as fate would have it a
slight rain storm caused the promoters to forego his performance and
bring on the MB in a hurry to avert a rainout ! They came on and the
rain disappeared along with my chance to see Jimmy Spheeris live !
This cd is for sale at Amazon.com for a variety of prices near200$ an
amount not in my ballpark ! Anyone having a better deal or method of
obtaining a copy, contact the WIZARD post haste !!!!!! or ASAP
!!!!!!!!!

There is also a collaboration with The London Symphony Orchestra
called THE MUSIC OF JETHRO TULL:A CLASSIC CASE OF TULL...I think

They always got u rockin! Website below,,,,at the Louisiana Superdome
show they opened for the Rolling Stones and so was all the 12 people I
went to the show with. It seems we ate some good brownies....walked to
the concert and when we got seated everyone had developed dry mouth .I
never saw 12 people all volunteer to buy a round of beer so quickly
before that night....you see everyone was willing to buy a round but
nobodywas willing to go get the beer....nobody could stand up any
longer....the bad side of eating too many or too much of a good thing
!!!!
